Event closing the cycle of residencies of Marginalia+Lab in 2011, with exhibition and performances by the artists Henrique Roscoe (Belo Horizonte/MG), Breno Rodrigues (Brasília/DF) and !Co LAPse KoDe (Belgium, Scotland, Brazil).
Second workshop of the collective is aimed at artists and professionals of performing arts and music.
Continuing the meeting sessions, Marginalia+Lab invites the !Co LAPse KoDe collective – international artists in residency at Marginalia+Lab, in a meeting to be held next Saturday, June 11th, starting at 16h, at Marginalia+Lab.
The meeting includes also the presentation of curator and art critic, Júlia Rebouças, and visual artist and performer, Marco Paulo Rolla.
Marginalia+Lab is organizing, for next week, the workshop " Stereoscopic drawings" with Breno Rodrigues, national artist in residence at the lab until the end of June.
The workshop will cover the process of creation of drawings exploring the stereoscopic vision, through the construction of simple stereoscopic devices. It is aimed at those interested at the process of stereoscopic vision (analog or digital), the complementarity of images and concepts of art and technology in general. The workshop will enable each of the participants to develop a visual project, whether in drawings or concepts, according to contents of their interest and their cultural and technical background.
Enrollment should be placed online, at Marginalia+Lab's web site, until midnight of June 7. Places are limited and, if there is more demand than places available, there may be a selection of those enrolled based on the information given on the submission.

Marginalia+Lab is organizing, for next week, the workshop "Creative Processes in Live Audiovisual Performances" with Henrique Roscoe, vj 1mpar, local artist in residence at the lab until May.
The workshop will cover diverse aspects involved in the creation of an audiovisual performance, including the use of modular softwares, such as vvvv and the creation of audiovisual autonomous instruments using Arduino. It is aimed at those interested at the theme and in art and technology in general.
The workshop will last three days, between March 31st and April 2nd and it will be held at Marginalia+Lab.

meeting_mapping rumos artes visuais
Marginalia+Lab will hold, next Monday, March 28th, a meeting with curator Júlio Martins, who is mapping visual arts in Brasil for the Itaú Cultural’s program Rumos Artes Visuais 2011-2013. Artists working with new media are invited to come and present their portfolios for the curator.
The meeting will be at Marginalia+Lab from 19h to 22h.
